Through education, research and assessment, the UDiversity Educational Institute supports the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in its efforts to promote a campus climate that values understanding, fairness and a sense of community and belonging.

Our mission is to provide training for staff, faculty, students and the local community. We work collaboratively to create programming that enhances learning and working environments.
Professional Development
We offer a schedule of professional development workshops and other programs to increase cultural competency skills and foster a deeper understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion.

We offer a robust internship program for undergraduate students interested in gaining experience in workshop and event planning and more.

Report a Bias Incident
The Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the UDiversity Educational Institute at ºûµûÖ±²¥ are committed to addressing incidents of hate, bias or discrimination, both on and off campus, and appreciates your help in bringing these incidents to our attention.
In 2025, ºûµûÖ±²¥ was named by the American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and W.K. Kellogg Foundation as a Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation (TRHT) Campus Center.
ºûµûÖ±²¥ is one of 71 TRHT Campus Centers nationwide, one of four SUNY Schools, and the only University Center.
As a TRHT Campus Center, we collaborate with the AAC&U and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation to achieve a common goal: to prepare the next generation of leaders and thinkers to challenge racialized practices and to dismantle the belief in a hierarchy of human value.
